Confidence to Move Our Association Forward
Michelle Lee, CPC, Executive Director of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP)
When our team member suggested we engaged Tracy King and her Accelerator program, my initial thoughts were, “Ok, sounds like a great idea. We will learn some new tricks.” A great idea is an understatement. It was the best suggestion our team member could have ever made! As far as a few new tricks, we have transformed our process for creating and executing educational programs going forward. The well thought out program provided us with weekly readings, videos, and homework (yes, helpful homework!) that forced us to think through this process. What people may not realize, Tracy does not just give you a plan and have you fill out the template. She teaches you how to dig deep. She teaches you how to evaluate your current programs. She teaches you the steps you need to follow to create all future programs. Our weekly assignments generated great discussions among our team members and gave us all the confidence to move our association forward. We are beyond excited about the roadmap we have started and the new product we will be bringing to our association in 2020. Thank you, Tracy, for not just feeding us, but teaching us to fish!
Game Changer!
Ragan Cohn, Executive Director of Oracle Applications and Technology Users Group (OATUG)
The opportunity to work with Tracy in her Competitive Advantage Accelerator program was game changing for us. She helped us get laser focused on the educational program we most want to improve and led us through a thoughtful process that one-by-one brought several strategic priorities into alignment in ways we hadn’t previously imagined. We’re now positioned to significantly elevate the value of our online learning program and with it the value of membership by better leveraging our human capital much more effectively against a new education roadmap. No new technology investment required! And the best part? We will be able to apply what we learned from Tracy and the tools she provided again and again as we evaluate other current and potential new educational programs. Priceless!
Transformational
Brit Kramer, CAE, Executive Director of the Washington Society of Association Executives (WSAE)
Working with Tracy King, InspirEd, is resulting in a transformation of the Washington Society of Association Executives (WSAE) education program in a way that has exceeded my expectations. Tracy helped WSAE tackle the single biggest organizational challenge - how to deliver relevant education and networking that meets the needs of our time challenged executives.
Engaged in My Success
Maura Davis, Senior Director, Education at the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA)
Tracy embodies the “teach a (wo)man to fish” model. We originally approached Tracy to work as a consultant, but she suggested this alternative - why not teach me how to do it for myself? Tracy’s crafted a series of building blocks, each block providing me with a skill that I can use to build our education strategically. From learner personas to revenue models, Tracy thinks about the entire business of education. For the first time I know where we’re going strategically. I joke that she’s also a therapist, listening to me recount the overwhelming amount of work and frustration. With a sense of humor and a patient ear, Tracy is supportive and engaged in my success.
