Why A Retreat?
What does it mean to go on retreat? Is this vacation with a little session sprinkle on top? Actually, no. Retreat is purposeful pause. It’s stepping outside of the grind to recharge and return with greater capacity, resiliency, inspiration, and solutions for your what’s next.

Who will be in the room?
Senior level female learning leaders in continuing education events and/or training (Director, VP, CLO or equivalent). For modest size professional associations, that may be the Executive Director.

When is the retreat?
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, new dates are forthcoming

Where will the retreat be held?
We'll be staying at a beautiful property on Lake Pepin Bluffs in western Wisconsin. Transfers between the airport and the venue are provided with registration.

What topics will be covered?
Learning at the retreat will fall into two tracks. Leadership Development and Business of Learning (including entrepreneurial innovation and CE business models). An agenda will be provided upon registration

What is included in the retreat?

Kris Finger
Kris Finger is a seasoned event planner and project manager with 20+ years in the industry. Her experience ranges from executive management to ground floor implementation of new concepts and ideas. As the former of owner of two successful small businesses, she understands all aspects of business management and has worked with over 350 nonprofit and for-profit organizations during her career. In 2008, Kris was named the Young Business Woman of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners, Minnesota Chapter (NAWBO) and is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the Association Management Company Institute (AMCi) and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) to name a few. Kris is a die-hard frequent flyer and loves to travel. But when she’s home, she’s band mom to a half dozen high school band kids including her teenage daughter.
